Couldn't quite find what I was looking for:
Does the 92A1s have the internal recoil buffer, or is it just the 96A1s? |

Number #80 on the Schematic for 92/96 A1.
http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=0/sid=929/schematicsdetail/92A1___96A1 Part number # 913-100-613 Same part number as the Dash 2 in 9mm or .40s+w ; Number #16 on the schematic. Part # 913-100-613 http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=0/sid=877/schematicsdetail/90_Two $48.80 USD
Brownells needs to get their shit together. |

Brownells needs to get their shit together. Log in with your Brownells account, it is less. I am sure Beretta is gonna charge more. |

What shit do they need to get together?!
The buffer that is NOW in the 96A1 & 92A1 came from the Beretta 90-Two ( really?do you jest? The 92/96A1 is a reworked 90Two.) Care to explain? Cause you comment confused the hell out of me. ( read below) Sure mate,it's their pricing discrepancies, and lack of attention to detail concerning Beretta parts.
1st, $48 USD for that Aluminum part is ludicrous.(or even $40,thanks A308 )
2nd, Check out how much they charge for a regular 92/96 Barrel,...now...compare that to what they charge for a 90Two Barrel. It's the same dam part with some extra stamping. While you're at it,look at the price of a 90Two Slide. Now, look what they charge for the Rail Cover for the 90Two.A cheap plastic part... Next, look at what they charge for the 90Two Captive Guide Rod Assembly.
Now,I'll turn your attention to this highly specialized machined part, and you tell me why it's so cheap...http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/sid=57205/pid=28278/Product/C57726_NUT__BARREL_92_96_STOCK_COMBAT 3rd, They have been carrying Beretta parts for ages, yet Still have not placed ANY pictures for the particular part. FWIW, you are dead wrong on the length of the 17 round Mags too.
I hope I've settled your confusion? For Bob Cole, I have a 90TWO,and in fact run Recoil Buffers in all my Berettas. Used to use Blackjacks.I use the SwissBianco type now. |
