I was at the range today & was shooting my 92FS. Wonderful groups @ 20 yrds using el cheapo PMC ammo. I had several shooters comment that they didn't know a 92FS was capable of such accuracy.

Dare I say it might replace my High Power as my IDPA/3 Gun handgun?

Shows what they knew.

+1..most nay sayers of the 92F have never even shot one..they just buy the bullshit they read on the net or that some carbon blob at a shop tells them...right before they try to sell them a $2000 dollar Wilson .45...I love the Berettas...I'm a huge Beretta fan.....

Match the recoil spring to the load and they are capable laying down some desent groups.

Add fitting the locking block to get the barrel to lock up the the slide tightly, and you can tack drive with them.

The only downside to the pistol/lock up is the last round out of the mag; you can get a flyer.  Unless your going to do the set screw lock-up mod, just dump the mag before it goes dry and you don't have to worry about the last round/empty mag flyers.

Stock recoil spring is 13 lbs, and for most factory loads, the pistol groups better with one ranging from 14 to 15 lbs. My guess is that the PMC ammo is loaded light, and the 13lb spring is just right for the ammo.

I get pretty darn good groups now using cheap ammo. Can't imagine it getting to much better?

I've never had this problem you speak of.

Based on what I've been told, PMC is a bit faster than the equilivalent UMC/AM Eagle, etc. I don't own a chrono so I can't say for sure.

Okay guys, where is a good place on the Internet to get a good deal on a NIB (in the case)  92FS.  I am looking for one. Hopefully with 15 round mags. I am a FFL Class 01 Dealer.

I'd say for a FFL holder, Gunbroker.com would be your best bet? Maybe RSR wholesale?

You're in a whole different league with a FFL than us peons.
