| There are two gun stores by me. They both have a 92fs. Both are new, made in the usa. Both stores have them priced at $600.00. My question is. What is the average price I should be looking to pay for one of these. |

What is the average price I should be looking to pay for one of these. Currently in my area $599 plus tax seems to be the standard...I have seen them as low as $576 plus tax. EDT: Keep an eye out for a used one. I recently picked up an Italian one (minor wear...easy 95%) for ~$460 out the door. |

I've been looking around my area for 92s or M9s and the prices have really jumped. I am kicking myself for not jumping on the Bud's police special a year or two ago We have a company in the Carolinas that sells Police supplies. They always carry a nice selection of police trade ins. I don't know if they do internet sales but it is worth contacting them. Good people to do business with. I've bought several Sigs, Smiths, and Berettas from them over the years. Lawmen's Police Supplies |

Academy did have them at $520 a couple months ago, now $550. Keep an eye on them, they seem to run sales pretty frequently. Other local dealers here are still at $550-$600 for standard 92FS, $700+ for anything else. I really should have bought a bunch of those $350-$375 police trade-ins when they were everywhere last couple years, last gunshow only had a couple in really bad shape for $450. Anyone know of any PDs still using 92s? Maybe we can talk them into trading those POS's in |

Great link. |

I was at a local police supply store the other day and ask them why Beretta's have gone up in price. It's no secret they have. It seems that since the Army has ordered another 500,000 of them, supply is a little low for the civilian population. Just what I heard from the owner, makes sense though.
But you can easily pick up slightly used 92 for $525. At least in Kentucky |
