| So I'm looking at getting one of the 92 Compacts in the near future here with the M9A1 frame, is it possible to park a full sized slide on top of that and have it function? |
| I've put about 5-600 rounds through my Compact/Vertec slide combo. Works fine. Some will advise not to. I never had any issues. I actually like the Compact slide better as far as the recoil impulse and sight tracking. The only thing the Vertec slide had going for it was the dovetailed front sight. |
