Well the Glock failed as the magic solution to the best 9mm single stack so I ordered what I consider the best single stack 9mm; new Colt lightweight XSE Commander. |

You do understand that while you believe it failed, many other opinions are that it's a home run, right? The Glock is a small pistol. In my case, I did compare the small 9mm pistols and I ended up with the Ruger LC9s Pro. I prefer it over the Glock. I have owned many Glocks. I own none today. I replaced them with Sigs and 1911s and Berettas. |

I replaced them with Sigs and 1911s and Berettas. I had the LC9 and had the same problem with it as I do with so many SS9's the grip was to small could not physically keep a grip on it. How do you like the trigger on your S model did you compare it to a LC9? |
Incorrect, the correct answer is the same gun in 38super with a 9mm barrel and mags on the side. 
ETA: EdgecrusherXES; wife has had both Rugers. the "S" model is far and away the better gun, however, I wouldn't pocket carry her LC9s PRO as the trigger on it is SHORT and no manual safety makes me nervous. |

I like my 43. I expect the trigger to break in with time and practice. Mag extensions take care of any capacity issues. I have sweat issues so the all polymer frame and mag release of the G43 works for me. Plus, it's a Glock - what's not to love?  Plastic. |

That particular model was new for 2015 and not even available until about 6 weeks ago, only a few weeks before Colt officially announced that they had discontinued their XSE Series which that is part of. I had been looking for it since it was first introduced so I snagged mine immediately when it first showed up, so I think it's lucky you decided to get yours now while there's still some out there in the distribution channels. I'd be interested to know how many of the o4662XSE's were made before they shut down it's production. Can't be many. Anyway, if you want to make that pistol even better, think about changing out the (already pretty I know) grips for the thin grips which take another 1/4" off the overall thickness of the grip.
