Who makes a 9mm commander. I have a Springfield 1911 loaded in 9mm, great gun, use it in IDPA. Would like a commander size 1911 to carry. Thanks Woody

Colt made plenty of them, but currently they're out of production.  They are commonly encountered in the secondary market.

STI makes several models with 4" slides and 9mm chambering.  The Ranger II, for instance.

you can probably get one made by Springfield, but it'll cost you over $2000

I am beginning to feel like I pimp this gun out too much: Dan Wesson - Guardian

It all depends on your budget.

I would look for a pre-80 series Colt myself.Had a very old Commander, and a pristine Combat Commander, both in .38 Super.Wish i still had them now.
