| I cant seem to find this info, so i figure i would ask. i currently have a p229 in 40, with a .357sig barrel. i know i can get a barsto or efk drop in 9mm barrel for the .40 slide, but my question is do i also need to use p229 9mm mags or can i still use the same 40/357 mags? thanks! |
| Most threads I have seen, people say to use the 9mm mags with the 9mm conversion barrel. There are some people who have use the .40/ .357 mags and said they worked without problem, but even they usually caution against using them for a CCW/ SD carry. With anything mechanical, there are going to be problems from time to time. If you try it and find over time, after hundreds and hundreds of rounds, you had no stoppages then why not carry it that way if you want to? My .02. |
