My humble submission of the beginning of my MEU SOC style pistol build. The slide is from Numrich, and the frame is also. It's a Remsport Match. The slide & frame fit like a glove no movement besides forward and back. I ordered all the parts as required on the 25 Jun 09 Marine Corps part list. All I need are the grip screw bushings. I can get them locally. I went with a Nowlin prefit barrel. It drops right in, but the bushing won't drop all the way in. It will need work.

This will be a neat build, where are you heading with it? I wanted to build one for years now and when I got to looking at the cost of building versus buying one already done, I just couldnt do it.

I really can't wait to see where you go with the build and the final product. Keep us posted.

I know what you mean about cost. I'm already over $1K for this build. I could have bought a Springfield MC Operator for what I'm putting into this build. I bought many of the parts from Brownells, and I get an FFL discount (C&R), so it would have been even more. I strictly went with what's on the USMC parts list.

It's cool to have something this close to what the military uses and not have to go Class 3.
