I ran across these at a local shop.  Consignee was a fellow IDPA shooter who's taking a temporary hiatus.   I picked up the Trojan first, then a couple days went by until I could talk myself into going back and getting the Eagle too.

Trojan's in 9mm, Eagle is in .45.

Both are halfway hardchromed.  The Trojan has some kind of rattlecan black finish that's chipped off here and there... I suspect Duracoat.  I may blast that crap off and redo it with Norrell's moly resin once it gets bad enough.  I also might see what it'd take to put the Trojan upper on the Eagle lower.  I think the .45 ejector is all that's keeping the slide from going on.

Both have Dawson front sights, which I can live with.  I don't think either of them needs anything except more mags.

I have a .40 Trojan come through the shop.  I am not much of a 1911 guy but that gun felt good and was nearly as smooth as some of the worked over guns that have come in.  Fairly inexpensive elegance.  It had the slimmest grips I had ever felt on a 1911 and they really changed the feel.

I just got a sales list from Dawson Precision, I fear they may be the death of me.

Pull the ejector from the frame and see if the slides will swap.

I believe it will.  The slide will go on the frame easily until it encounters the ejector.
