I bought a novelty grip for my 1911 and found it to have a very smooth surface, inadequate for a proper grip (a big shocker, huh?).
Is there any product on the market that can add a textured surface that can hold up to constant grippage? Maybe some sort of spray? |

Well, one cheap and easy way would be to apply skateboard tape to part or all of the surface of the grips. I've used it, I like it alot. It works well.
Or, depending on what material the grips are made of, you could checker them with a checkering file. Might as well just get checkered grips though, if you're gonna do that. |
