Well, I'm looking at my Springfield Loaded and I'm wondering what the little screw in the trigger actually adjusts. Secondly, how do you adjust it? I tried touching it with the allen wrench they supplied, but it wouldn't budge.
Tried a search, but couldn't find anything. Thanks guys |
| It adjusts the trigger's range of motion. You want to adjust it so the trigger moves enough to fire the gun, but nothing more. This eliminates overtravel. Usually there is some form of threadlocker on the allen screw, so you may need to use more force to break it loose to adjust it. Make sure you reapply the threadlocker after you make the final adjustments, which will reduce the chance of recoil forces causing the screw to work loose. |
