Has anyone ever shot one of these? http://www.warriortalknews.com/2010/09/tsd-glock-the-future-of-combat-handguns-.html ![]() |
| Like was said above, the dovetail mount "looks horrible", I will add that it is also awkward to use if you are accustomed to standard height Glock sights. Every time the pistol comes up, you'll find yourself having to lower the weapon a bit in order to find the dot. Once the dot is found it is amazingly accurate at longer distances. I have never shot one of the ones with the milled slide mount but I would assume that if they allowed your muscle memory to hold the Glock in the same position as a regular sighted model it would be an awesome setup. |

Quoted: So this is just a modified slide you put on your existing pistol? As far as I can tell, yes. I believe they low mount a Trijicon RMR, put on sights that co-witness, and refinish the slide as well as installing an optional threaded barrel. Personally, I would take it a bit further and upgrade the trigger and put a Vickers mag release in it. They charge $235 to machine your supplied slide and another $75 to refinish it. I like the concept, but I would most likely do all the work sans refinishing myself. |
