I have a Taurus PT1911, I would like to know if it is safe to fire lead rounds thru it, I am getting into reloading and cannot find any information on it. Any help on this would be awsome, thanks!

1911s were made to sling lead... modern weapons w polygonal barrels, not so much.
Rule of thumb: Take either lead or copper to the range that day. Don't mix them in a shooting session.
