Well I purchased 2 new 15round magazines for my 92. The mags were advertised as "Beretta 92F/FS 15rd factory Italian NIW" magazines. I got the mags and the package the front is in Italian and the back in English. On the back it hase all of the offical Beretta guise on it ie Name, Logo, Address, web addy. Now on the mag itself it says "M.D.S. CAL 9 PARA - MADE IN ITALY" Is this a lagitimate brand? What I mean is are they actuall Beretta mags? I would assume they will function well, but I hate to assume. Does anyone know about these at all? |

Beretta factory mags used to be made by Mecgar for them. Beretta then set-up a magazine production line in the same town (I think it was a joint venture or something with Mecgar), and I'm pretty sure this is the "M.D.S." outfit. I haven't completely confirmed it, but I'm pretty sure the MDS are factory mags now. Ross |
