I'm looking for a holster belt carry for CCW that is REVERSE FBI Cant>>> muzzle forward I have found that I like the feel , carry of appendix carry , it seems to conceal better but I want a holster more conducive to that placement. I have considered gettin a Galco Small of the back >>left hand , and placing it on my belt right front this is as close as I can find but I would prefer a true right hand muzzle forward leather holster Can anyone offer a suggestion? thanks |

(for Appendix carry Supposed to be a very fast draw from what I've heard, a great way to carry.... if it works for you. I have way too much "overhang" in that region currently to go that route. According to CrossBreed Holsters, their Quick Clip model works well for Appendix. It'd give you the added advantage of being able to use the rig with different barrel lengths (I'd want a short 1911 for that type of carry myself, can't imagine a full size there). But whatever works for you! ETA, you're looking for IWB, right? |
| I appendix carry but with a Glock 27 (I know boo hiss) in a comp-Tac 2 O'clock. Personally I would not go over 3-3.5" barrel for this carry position. I have a flat stomach but longer barrels will dig into the top of your thigh when you sit. Other than that, I love it. It is fast to get to and easy to see if you are either printing or if your cover rides up on you. |
| I appendix carry when I’m in an environment with high bump frisk potential (funerals, places where I need to stand in crowded conditions, public speaking, etc.). As a driver, it can be tough to futz with / adjust a seatbelt while appendix carrying when you have a passenger that doesn’t know you carry. I find that carrying at absolute 3:00 is a good compromise between typical >=3:30 and appendix. The trick is to keep the rig from shifting fore or aft of your hip. |
only for my bug though
