As a fan of obnoxiously overpowered, expensive and woefully unreliable handguns, as well as obscure cartridges and my teen years falling in the '80's, I've been following the Auto Mag drama and it appears the new owners have locked down their forums and are entertaining a buyout offer. Based on what I've seen, I certainly hope they take it and the new owner gets down to the business of building guns, with a pricetag hopefully under $3K. That is all.

Engrish, damnit!

is this the Automag Corp., a third-party  ammo developer, or is someone like Wildey or LAR Grizly alledgedly comi.g back on line?

I heard LAR developer being willing to get in bed with anyone willing to buy him back in business.

ETA: Google is my friend... option 1.

From your post, I do agree that Automag sounds like the perfect company and firearm for you.

Its Auto Mag Corp., makers of the Auto Mag Pistol, and the 44AMP. Not the AMT guns named automag. Two different companies.
The company and its 180 AMP were bought buy some fella in Alaska whose attempt to remake the AMP 180 as the "Kodiak" for $3000 appears to be going as well as the Fortis, or the original Auto Mag Corp, or Dornaus & Dixon, although the latter guys at least got something out the door.
