So, I finally mannaged to get my Delta, and unlike the last one, this is unmollested.
So other than ammo, what else do I need? Which mags does the hive reccomend?

Must be Delta week around here. Took delivery of my new stainless Delta Thursday, got to shoot it today. Oh my. Why did I wait so long to buy one?
Far as the OP, dunno bout mags. I've always heard good things bout the stock Colt mags, and I'll probably pick up some Wilson mags to try out. Seems hard to find a general consensus on 10mm 1911 mags. Gratuitous 10mm porn:

I am no where near as impressed with the Wilson 10mm 1911 mags as I am the 45acp mags they make. They seem to be a little better then the colt mags though. Past that the delta elite is a blast to shoot. Mine is like 2 years old or so and has had a few hundred rounds though it.
It seems to like its friends as well.

Although there is obviously something missing from my pic...I think a S&W 10mm auto will be the next search... So, it's hard to tell, what's your opinion of the Wilson mags? Worth buying? |

Only issue I have with the colt mags are the base plates which I didn't like. Function wise they were fine. I prefer the Wilson because I like the plastic base plates that they use but the quality is not as good as the 45acp ones. They only come in a single stile but they work fine. Haven't tried any others but I will look into it if I decide I need a few more mags. Gun is really a range gun so the 5 or 6 mags I have is enough.
Now if I could only find some cheap mags for that 1006...... |

They are a mixture of brands - mainly Colt and MecGar. A 10mm 1911 will run with 45 mags. In the long run they are not going to be as reliable as ones for the 10mm in the long run. For a range toy it shouldn't matter. |
