alright.  I need a new belt.  I am looking for a 1.5 inch black leather belt with a silver buckle.  i want a small buckle. I want it to be smooth black leather..

Does anyone have anything that resembles this?

Anyone know a good place to start looking?

I love my Aker's b-21 belt. I have been wearing mine every day for 2 1/2 years with no problem. Mine is brown with a brass buckle but they come in black with a nickle buckle. ~38 bucks.

I have used belts from Texas Gunslinger for about 7 years now.  They do have a lot of items not shown on the website.  Most of the DFW crew has had very good luck and will vouch for the quality.

I just picked up a Galco belt recently that is just like you described. It's black and has a silver buckle and is 1.5" thick. Its the COP belt version and i'm liking it so far. galco cop belt

+1 on Galco--I've had tremendous service from their belts, at sometimes half the cost of the other names (Kramer, Allessi, Milt Sparks, etc.), and most of them are pretty stylish.

No, it looks like all of them need to be broken in.

+1 I could not be more pleased with my 1 1/2" Black Bullhide with Black buckle that I have from them. It is the best belt that I have ever owned.

They are very nice belts.

Jim is a nice guy as well. There is a 3-4 week wait for the belt as he is a two person operation and they don't overlap the work. He does some of the work and the other person does the rest of the work on 1 belt. They are worth the money and the wait.

He also makes VERY nice holsters and mag carriers, they are not listed on the site but he made me a holster for my 1911s and a mag carrier. My entire conceal carry rig was done by Jim.

Has anyone ever used the Filson, double thickness belts?  They look promising.  www.filson.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2092372&cp=2543740&ab=espot&clickid=Espot&parentPage=family
