Ok, so JM Browning was a genius but damn, that BHP is a pain to work on compared to the 1911 but I digress. I am installing a cylinder and slide replacement spring kit in my Mk2 BHP and need to know how to remove/install the mainspring. Looking at it I think I have to drive out the cross pin in front of the hammer and pull that block out. Is that right? Do i also have to remove the safety? I guess that is done by driving out the pin that holds the safety lever to the safety pivot pin. I guess I just need a set on instructions on how to do this. I do not want to destroy anything trying to figure it out as I go. So, can anyone tell me how to do this replacement? Does anyone know where I can find instructions online? |
