Have any of you guys used the beavertail grip from Glock Store ? I have had some issues of riding "high" on the frame and getting my hand bitten by the slide. Is this accessory good to go or crap ?????

http://glockstore.com/pgroup_descrip/8_Grip+Enhancer/8022_Beavertail+Grip+Extension+for+Glock/?return=%3ftpl%3Dindex%26category_id%3D8%26_Grip%2BEnhancer%2F

Thanks for the input in advance.

Grip Force Adapter is one of the best accessories ever for the Glock.

My Gen 2 22 & my Gen 4 23 each have one.

I have the Grip Force on one of my Gen3's and I think it's awesome. And slide bite sucks something fierce.

The Grip Force Adapter is a quick and cheap method to improve Glocks.  I prefer them on the compact and full size guns..jury is still out on my G26.

It's a lot easier than sending the frame off to have a beavertail added, that's for sure.

I have the Grip Force Adapter on my two 17's, 19, and 26.
I think it fits best on my 19.  I didn't care for it on my 26 until I went to their website and followed the instructions on how to trim it for the 26.
Now it's gtg!
Best thing for the 26, well except for the GAP plates for the mags.

I only bought from the Glock Store once, but was absolutely disgusted by the customer service. I would buy the GFA from anyone else.

I have the Beavertail Grip Extension on all of my Glock's. Slide bit hasn't been a big issue for me but the extension give you more control as well. Great feature to add, wish Glock would add a beavertail similar to the M&P's. They kind of a pain to put on but well worth it..

Another vote for the Grip Force Adapter.  Plus, it's design can be used to straighten out the curve of the Glock backstrap by filling in the upper curve.  This causes the grip to more closely resemble a 1911's shape.  While I had no problems with the stock Glock grip for years of shooting (never once had a slide bite issue), I did note that after I got my Springfield 1911 and shot it for awhile, I was holding my Glock a bit barrel high because of the difference in grip shape between them.  The Grip Force Adapter eliminated the issue.
My custom G20/21L with stock Glock grip.  Note the upper inward curve to the grip.

My Springfield 1911.  Note how the grip is virtually straight.

My custom G20/21L with the Grip Force Adapter installed.  Note how the upper curve is filled in to give it a more straight shape that now mimics the 1911's.  Even though it has the effect of raising the bore axis just slightly, the beavertail gives me overall the same recoil control even when using my 'nuclear' level 10mm loads.  Everyone's that's tried it agrees that it works well.

ETA:  Also, the Grip Force Adapter can be sanded to fit your hand.  In fact, the manufacturer suggests that you sand it down to custom fit your hand.  In this picture I'd just installed it and had not yet sanded down the ribs showing in the curve a bit.  I tried it as is and it worked well for me so the sanding was minimal for my hand.

Anybody know if they make a GFA for the Glock 30sf?
