I've got a M&P .40c that I carry in a Simply Rugged holster.  I got a good price a few years back on a 511 Tactical belt similar to this.  I'm really happy w/ it for jeans, but it looks like shit w/ anything more dressy, so I don't carry as often as I'd like.

So, any recommendation on a good belt (likely would get brown and black) that would work w/ khaki's, dress pants, and suit pants and support a gun well?

Thanks!

If you have a Simply Rugged holster, have you looked at possibly getting a Simply Rugged Belt? I have several and am happy with all of them.

That's certainly the most apparent solution!  Just wondering if anyone has positive or negative experience w/ other vendors.

Comp-Tac makes a good leather belt, and I've had good luck with Tactical Tailor's rigger's belt.

Tactical Tailor's rigger's belt is a good looking well built belt, A buddy has one, it is too wide, 1 3/4'', it will not go through the belt loops on some pants. It is too wide for cell phone clips, and some holsters, and does not seem to have more than a couple inches of adjustment.

I solved this years ago by only wearing Levi's.  The only three exceptions are weddings, funerals and christenings.  I usually wear a suit to these, and generally go with either an ankle holster or shoulder holster.
