According to the 2003 Standard Catalog of Firearms: Model 70 series, there are a number of subvariations available, chambered for the .22lr, .32ACP and .380ACP cartridges. Available with a 3.5" or 5.9" barrel and has a detachable magazine. Also know as the "Puma" when marketed in the U.S. by J.L.Galef & Sons. It was introduced in 1958 and discontinued in 1985. Unless you were only curious as to the $ value, don't sell your father's gun- you'll just regret it later, even if you don't see a practical use for the gun. Beretta .32's are fun plinkers. My downstairs neighbor has a Tomcat which she lets me take to the range for kicks every now and then. |
