Hello everybody
Been hanging around the forum for some time now  reading the messages but now I nead your help

I want a light rail attached on my 1911, as I live in Finland  it down to the Caspian rail or the Brownells light rail for Beretta 92 and 1911.
Before I decide I would like some pictures on the Brownells on mounted on a 1911, brownells own pages have it only standing by itself.

Please post me some pictures if possible.

Thanks

Welcome.

While I cannot help you with your request, I figured I would bump you to the top of the page and say Hi. I have always enjoyed looking at pictures of your beautiful country and women and dreamed of visiting some day.

Good luck and welcome,
Lost River.

Let me offer a new alternative as well. This is removable, so you can use a standard holster. The TICK rail:

There is also the removable surefire adapter.

Well....

There's the Caspian Rail, which is meant to mimic their "Recon" 1911 receivers.

Then the Dawson Precision number, that is very low profile. Keep in mind any light you use will require a specific adapter to work with the lower profile Dawson piece.

Novak makes one, I'm not sure if they resolved the issues with the screws (I need ot research this one more myself)

Cylinder & Slide makes an ugly unit I did not know about until I searched...

The Surefire unit is mentioned above, as well as the godawful CAA offering.

EDIT:

For comparison, this is the Brownells light rail, which appears to be the Novaks version.
