Picked up a used Buckmark Gold Target .22 the other day to get back into a little competitive shooting. Starting off easy with some 50' gallery shooting with a millet red dot sight. The gun has beautiful rosewood grips, but I'm a lefty, so need to change them. Any tips on where to look? So far, I haven't found anything. |
Thanks, Bob. I ended up buying a pair from Brownell's. They had them in stock and were very nice to deal with. Had the grips in just a few days. Not cheap, but the most beautiful rosewood, and they fit my hand well. Now to figure out how to hit more x rings... |

I know what you mean, I have rosewood on ALL of my S&W revolvers. Really makes them into works of art, IMO. Brownells are about the nicest people I've ever done business with. They & Dillon's really take care of you. May I ask what you plan on doing with your old RH grips?

The old grips are walnut, I believe, and wrap around the front, completely covering the front part of the frame. I think I should probably keep them in case I ever want to sell the gun. Was that a hint of interest? |
