Sorry if this has been beat to death but, is bullet setback(from re-chambering) more common among certin calibers? What about FMJ vs. JHP?
Thanks |

Logic tells me that it would be more common with calibers that don't have as much crimp holding the bullet in place.
.45ACP comes to mind. As far as JHP vs. FMJ, I would expect the JHP to move more than the FMJ just because of the increased resistence it meets on most feedramps. |
| I think that the brands with tighter crimps will hold up better no matter what the bullet shape. We have some problems with Winchester 180 gr JHP in 40 S&W in Glock 22's but it due to guys not rotating their service ammunition. It's a very easily prevented situation. |
