There must be a way to remove it The blueing that was orginally on the barrel has been removed so there is nothing to remove to make it look new. You have to "add" to make it look new again. The best thing you can do would be to put a little grease on it to reduce the wear when you plan in firing it a bunch, but what you see is completely normal. When you said heat stain I assumed you where talking about the fouling ring on the face of revolver cylinders like this:

There must be a way to remove it Remove what? If you are referring to the wear on the outside of the barrel/chamber at the ejection port, that is the normal result of shooting the gun. All guns have components that work into each other during the break-in period. My $0.02 - You have a quality, well-built gun. What you see is normal from use. Spend more time really learning how to shoot it and less time worrying about how it looks. |
