Good evening. Just stumbled upon this thread and decided to see just how wide-ranging it would be on the somewhat personal attacks and how the back and forths would reveal something about the poster. My original intent was to learn more about the lower to mid end rds, since I am considering less expensive options for some range toys. (Yes, i can afford the top tier, but don't need that for everything.) I was even going to ask for any opinions on the Gowutar hhc17g line, but that is an aside. Anyway- I will do like a previous member and offer up a legit prayer for some peace for those who seem to have much pent up anger and agitation and insecurities. |

I don't have any personal experience with one. IIRC 704 Tactical did a YouTube video with one. He seemed to like it. In the video it held zero after his water bottle beat down test he does. For something in that price range look at the Osight K. I got one last month for 125.00 off amazon. Its impressive when compared to my 407k and 507k Holosuns the quality is right there with Holosun. It does not have button lockout. But the buttons are very flush to the optic body. Its hard to bump them by accident. It only comes in 6 MOA dot to my knowledge. |

For those that are still interested. I found this gem last night. This guy hates Olight/Osight. He rags on Osight for 30 minutes. Skip to 33:00. See what he has to say after shooting it. His experience mirrors mine with the exception I have way more rds down range now. Its the reason I have been posting about them. The quality is there and the price is great. YMMV. I bought it because I like the the recharging idea. Like any new (or just new-to-me) product, I will use it only for practice at the range for a fairly long time before I use it on a gun I might pick up for an emergency. I can't remember how long I've had it now, but it's been 6 months or more. The thing is still on its first full charge, and hasn't even tapped into the cover's power yet. That's pretty cool. It has worked fine and retains zero after a lot of shooting. I'll see how well it holds up over time. |

I put another 150 rds of 124gr 9mm down my EDC yesterday and another 50 rds of 00 12ga RIO 9 shot yesterday. Zero issues. My EDC is a Glock 43x with a S model and the 12ga is a MAC 1014/M4 with a SE model. I switched to carrying my S model as an EDC a couple months ago. You cannot beat the price to quality. I own Trijicon RMRs, Holosuns EPS and EPS Carry's along with several other brands. Aimpoint, Vortex early models, etc. I sold I think 3 or 4 EPS Carry's this year in the EE. The only reason. I was looking for a clearer reticle. All four of my Osights have clearer glass and sharp very clear reticles. These are solid optics for EDC. Would I carry them for work? NO. But I would not carry anything Chinese for work. I don't trust anything with a screen. I have broken everything from Acogs to Aimpoints and EoTechs. Nothing is dummy or fool proof. These are a solid choice for EDC. I am done paying high prices for shit that I know will break one day. There is no reason other then greed what Holosun and Vortex are charging for these optics. YMMV. |

I have a bunch of Gen 3 parts, Brownells Slide and a spare G17 style frame sitting around. Just ordered Osight C Series and a Battery powered Valkyrie. $130 for the sight, $50 for the light. Gives me an excuse to put together another Gen 3 clone.  Will report back on the RMR clone. I'm hoping it holds up as well as the RMSC model. |

The Brownells slide uses ZEV style posts, so it doesn't really play nice with adapter plates. I'm impressed with the RMSC style sights though. Picked up another for the shockwave. The ears on the Osight K also work as a rear sight and cowitness with my XS Big Dot front sight. I sort of wish more RMR sights had ears. |
