Well as I am not familiar with PA law, I do not know of any state you can carry into a school.  Go to the site it give links to Pa Laws and contact people within the state.

I'm pretty sure federal law prohibits carrying at schools. I was just reading about that somewhere...  will check back if I find the link. I remember reading some junk in U.S. Code 922 about it, but that law is so broad and confusing, that I lost track a few times ;)

Edited to add: Sorry, I was way off. I was thinking of U.S. Code title 18, chapter 44, section 922(q). It says...

(2)(A) It shall be unlawful for any individual knowingly to possess
a firearm that has moved in or that otherwise affects interstate or
foreign commerce at a place that the individual knows, or has reasonable
cause to believe, is a school zone.

...talk about cornfuzzling. Anyway, found a decent site for checking Pennsylvania code, but uh, title 18 seems to be missing... www.pacode.com

But just a little bit further it saysthe following, so if he has a PA CCW, according to FEDERAL law he can carry in a school.  I'm not a PA resident, and don't know PA law, so he will have to check his state laws to see if they are stricter than federal law.  Here in VA you can't.:

Subparagraph (A) does not apply to the possession of a firearm -

(i)

on private property not part of school grounds;

(ii)

if the individual possessing the firearm is licensed to do so by the State in which the school zone is located or a political subdivision of the State, and the law of the State or political subdivision requires that, before an individual obtains such a license, the law enforcement authorities of the State or political subdivision verify that the individual is qualified under law to receive the license;
