I fondled one of these at the funshop today.  Very, very nice trigger, like a very good DA revolver.  However, the reset is, ahem, a bit long.  Does this hamper your ability to do quick double taps?

No more than it would on a revolver. Think of the long double action trigger pull as if you were firing a very light revolver trigger (kind of like a Colt Python) and you shouldn't have any problems with it.

Good point, and I've always liked a good six gun.

I find the Kahr to fit my hands much better than my M&P45 Compact.  The Smith is an awesome pistol....but nothing beats a single stack for comfort.

I own, and love my CW45.

If you have any questions, feel free to PM me.

It's thin, and I really like the "dot the i" sights.

I carry mine in a Crossbreed Supertuck, and use the Crossbreed belt.  It's like it isn't there.

You can even use some 1911 mags in the thing, and they make the bottom totally flush !

If only there was a tritium version of those sights.

I really like the grip on the "K" series. It's like the gun was made for my hand. That being said, the backstrap could use some smoothing out. There is an edge where the grip frame goes from flat to round that for some reason cuts my hand. 10 minutes with a Dremmel tool solved that problem. This shouldn't be a problem on the "P" series pistols (probably my next investment).

At first I was turned off by the "P" series. The magazine catches appeared to be made of polymer. A polymer magazine catch and a metal magazine makes for some problems big time. It turns out that the newer ones actually have steel inserts in them.

my cw45 is quickly becoming my favorite compact, Ive had to use it a few times here on the ranch, not only is it accurate, its recoil is very manageable

I've heard several say the recoil was harsh.  How does it compare to other 45 ACP pistols?  I've shot the M&P45C and a 1911.  How does it compare to those?
