Greetings!

Just recently purchased a new in the box CZ75b.

Great pistol, accurate as anything I have ever shot.

Curious though. Having never shot one prior to purchase, I am encountering quit a bit of trigger slap. It's akin to a poorly built AK.

Is this normal? Would a trigger job from CZ Custom eliminate this?

Again excellent pistol, but I was surprised at this behavior.

You might have what is called CZ sting. Call CZ custom and get thier trigger job should solve problem.

I had purchased a PCR a while back and it was the first CZ I've ever owned that had this problem. Might check these guys out, I was going to, but I ended up just selling the PCR.

Yep. The return smacks my index finger after every pull. Felt like I was shooting a WASR AK!

Thanks for the info. I will give them a call. Will also try CajunGunWorks.

Thanks for the info and links. I appreciate it.

None of my CZs had this problem but this is not the first time I heard about this.  First time I heard this I thought he was making it up.  Apparently I was wrong.

Is it common or just a once in a few pistol issue.

Shoot it more and it will go away....
I think it has to do with the bumps on the triggerbar inside the frame, they are there for a reason, but do polish down a bit with use. My first 75B had it, but after shooting it a bit, it went away.

I have 5 CZs and none of them have this issue.

Thought I would give it another few hundred rounds this weekend and see what happens. That first range session was only about 200 rounds. Maybe another 500 this weekend will ease the issue.

I'll post the results.

Thanks again for the info and suggestions.

250 rounds yesterday and the trigger slap noticeably less by the end of the range session.

Go figure...
