First off, I have tried to contact both CZ-USA and CZ Custom shop several times via email without any response.  So I'll post my question here hoping someone recently has dealt with what I'm going through.
I bought a used CZ97b several years ago for under $400, it was a steal.  It was made in 2003 if that matters.  I liked the gun and was my most accurate 45 at the time.  However, the grip is just too damn big/long.  This hand gun was on the chopping block for awhile but never found a good trade for it in return.  Fast forward a couple years, they released the thin aluminum grips.  I liked the look, like the idea of thinning down the grip width.  After months and months of searching, I found a seller in the US and snagged a pair of the grips.  If I didn't like the feel of the gun with the grips I would sell it and cut it as a loss.  The grips came in and holy hell did it change the feel of the gun.  This thing feels right in the hand.
Now that I know I am keeping the 97b, I need magazines since when I bought it used it only came with one.  Now quick google searching shows numerous people having issues with a gap in between the base pad and the gun.  I went to several gun shops locally and only had one dealer have Mecgar Witness 45 mags and when inserted into the gun had a gap that could have easily fit 2-3 credit cards.  Not acceptable, I need flush fitting mags especially if I'm paying 36-40 a piece for them.
Here is the gap I'm referring to, found these pics online Googling CZ97b magazine gap.

Now both CZ-USA and CZ Custom shop both have the same model CZ97b mags, model #11401.  Has anybody recently bought these mags and have any insight if these will fit my pistol without the heinous looking gap.  I would have just bought them and then return them if there was a gap, but since I'm not getting any responses from either company, I'm kind of concerned that they will not respond back to me if there is an issue.

Here's some pron for you 97b lovers

You may get an answer here, but probably a better bet would be to post this over on the CZ Forum.

The Witness and the 97B are not the same frame, so I could understand the gap.  I would expect a CZ magazine to fit flush like the original.
