Why do you never see these around? Does anyone here own one? They seem like okay guns, made by a reputable company but they are total zebras. Im not going to trade my G17 or G19 for one, but I still think they are cool... Especially the early ones that hade the trigger-activated lasers.

Are these good guns? Any specifics?

I love my 75s - the ones from CZ and all the other makers too.

But that polymer 100 is NO 75. And it sucks.

How's it different?

-it's barrel lockup is a single lug on the face of the hood.  Compare that to the 75's design which is identical to JMB's last design - the High Power.  I'll take the original thanks!

-its striker fired, NOT hammer fired.  Striker is ok - but it makes THIS gun's trigger just HORRIBLE. CZ knows how to make hammer-fired guns; they should stick to that.

If you want a polymer gun, buy the M&P or the Glock. If you want a light-weight CZ, then buy the P-01. Or the new polymer SP-01.

I never talked to anyone who owned one.

I played with one after they came out but the trigger was hideous, like CBR900 says.  Then there was that weird belt-racking attachment or whatever it was, right in the middle of the slide.  Gunrags said the gun was OK but when was this ever not the case?

It was destined it to be an orphan like FN's Forty-Nine.  Decent enough but not outstanding, and quickly eclipsed by better designs from the competition.  Of course holster and accessory makers follow the popular guns, so this was another strike against it.

If you want a polymer CZ take a look at the SP01 Phantom.  I don't know if it has hit the shelves yet though.  It is the SP01 with a polymer frame.

It is really the only bad gun that CZ made.  I guess they finally realized it and dropped the line.
