Has anyone seen/owned/shot the CZ40?  ITs a 40 cal that looks like a 1911.

Yes/yes and yes.  I currently own a CZ 40B, a CZ 75B, a CZ 100 and a CZ 2075 RAMI all in .40 caliber.  The CZ 40B is accurate, has a decent trigger and decent sights.  With the exception of the RAMI, the CZ 40B does transmit the most felt recoil to my shooting hand.  In my opinion, the best of the lot is the CZ 75B followed by the CZ 100.  CZ has discontinued making/importing the CZ 40B, so if you really want one, I'd pick it up.

Ill be getting my CZ 40-P hopefully by thursday.
Basically a P-01 frame with a  modified 40-B slide and barrel. And about 150.00 cheaper than a P-01.
I just recently bought my first CZ, a P-01, and i was so impressed, i had to get the 40-P.

How's that 40-P working for you?  I was interested in it because of it's low cost, but I got to handle one at a fun show recently--didn't do anything for me in person.  It feels a hair too big compared to my P-01.

That said, I was looking at a CZ-40B at a show a couple months ago, liked it, and told myself to finish wandering around and pick it up later.  The damn thing was gone when I went back!  So heart broken.  Just last night though, I was reading the new CDNN catalog and saw they have 'em for $249.99 + $9.99 shipping.  Ordered one this morning.I got the gun and two mags for less than what it would have cost at the show for the gun itself.  Some things happen the way they do for a reason!  I'll let you guys know how it is when I get it.
