I have a gray CZ 52. It came with 2 magazines that had the same gray color coating as the pistol.
With no less than 2400 rounds of Romanian milsurp plus another 300 rounds of commercial 7.62x25 it has functioned 110% reliable but the magazine are taking an aweful beating from inserting/removing them from the mag well.
The pics don't show how bad and deep the scrapes are. When i got the mags with the pistol there were no scrapes.
Im wondering if this is charteristic of CZ 52s and if anyone else is experiencing the same excellerted wear on their CZ 52 magazines?
Take a look....

Thanks in Advance

Mine have plenty of scratches in the finish but nothing like the marks - that really look like dents in the pic - on the front of the mag.

I don't think that's normal.

As the previous poster noted, that appears to be far in excess of normal wear. Mags for mine show a good bit of scuffing and abrasion but nothing like that. You might wish to examine the mag well carefully to try to determine the cause.
