Can the CZ 83 in 9x18 be converted to .380?

Anyone make barrels to do this?

CZusA can do it and can get the barells.  I've no idea what it costs, but probably wouldn't be worth it.  Why not just stick with the better 9x18 cartridge?  Mine is accurate and offers a bit more power than the .380

Yeah. I have a 83 in nickle satin finish in Mak caliber. Its a great little pistol!

To change caliber to .380 you'd need a new barrel and though the original slide would function, it'd have the wrong caliber marked on it. That could get expensive to change.
In anything but 9mm Mak, you'd lose the polygonal rifling too.

Mak ammo is relatively inexpensive compared to .380 also.
