| I need to have some replacement parts shipped to me from Glock but due to some liability policy they have, they will only ship to a certified armorer. Would somebody be willing to receive the parts and then ship them to me? Thank you for the help!!! |

There are certain parts they dont want you to install yoursel for liability reasons, therefore, they want to be assured the parts will be installed by a Glock armorer. If Glock sends the parts on your behalf, to a certified armorer, and he sends them to you and doesnt personally install them, the armorer will not only be in trouble with Glock, but could be from a liability stand point as well. Just send the pistol into Glock for service / upgrades as it will be easier. While i wont / cant encourage you to do the repairs on your own as simple as they may be, I will say that others do this all the time, howver you cant expect Glock to pay for the parts in this scenario which is what you are doing. |
| The problem is that my 22 has sat in a boat on the Great Salt lake for about three years in nothing but a holster. When the boat was docked this year I took the gun out to clean it and all of the metal parts on the inside are rusted from the salt. I would like to replace the parts but when I called Glock they told me they would not send me the parts as I am not a armorer. |
