where do yall keep/hide your handgun in your vehicle??

i was thinking about mounting a holster under my dash for a glock 26...

I keep a 1911 under my seat. It's my back-up. My CCW is always on me, of course.

Center console before it was torn apart by a thief, now my new car gun is either on me or wedged down where my seatbelt release is. I don't know what I'll do next time I go somewhere with metal detectors, I'm already violating the rules laid out in my employee manual.

sort of...its on my person though and i take it out/put it back in everytime i go to the car to prevent theft

I have a holster in the center console in my truck, but I have also put in the space under the center cup holders. They come up if you pull hard enough. Not as easy to get to, but also not a place someone would immediately look either.

In a holster I have attached to the seat frame from below. It is hidden and very reachable.

If I'm not in my main car, it is on me or tucked between the seat and console.

I've mounted holsters to the seat belt support between the seat/console of both my vehicles.

For long trips I put it under the seat until I get where I'm going. I keep it on me for short drives and running around town.

Center console compartment.

My center console compartment actually works out really well, it's got an extra cup holder inside it, so it fits a mag standing perfectly :D
