Where can I purchase bulk defensive ammo?  I'm hoping for either speer 124 +p Gold Dots or maybe Cor Bon DPX.  I see that double tap has 124 +p gold dots in volumes of 500.  Would these be comparable to speer gold dots?  Thanks for the help.

Yeah, I did.  They have 147 grain gold dots but still only in boxes of 20.  Would the Double Tap 124 +p gold dots be an ok substitute for Speer.  It's the only place I can find them in bulk.  Or really anywhere for that matter.

Try Georgia Arms.

They load their own +P ammo with Gold Dot bullets.
It's my HD load in a Glock 19.

Their ammo is top notch, and their prices aren't bad either.

Edited to add:
It's their Shear Power Plus ammo.
124gr +P.
Right now the web is showing $33.50/100, $330/1000, + shipping.
May want to order a 100 or so and try them out.

http://www.ammoman.com/webstore_9mm.htm

Several choices here, I like the 124grn "nyclad" and the NATO FMJ.

mike

ps - message to MOD, I didn't hot link it this time so please don't prohibit others from seeing my recommendation due to your prejudice against him

There is an industry partner that supports this website and its members that has the NATO 9mm cheaper (including shipping) than ammoman

Eric was an Industry partner of AR15,com; of course that's long before you arrived and besides if you have a bone to pick with me over my support of Ammoman than IM me or e-mail me - no need to sidetrack a thread just in order to post your personal diggs and condescension of someone you probably don't even know.

You brought up ammoman and the NATO 9mm ammo. I just told the original author that he can get the same product at a lower price from a different place... just makes sense doesn't it? And on top of a cheaper price the author would be supporting a member of this site. I have bought from ammoman in the past, no bad dealings with him. However, he's no longer on this board for a reason and I would rather support this board as its a rich source of information. I'm not bashing anyone... just stating a fact (cheaper price and support arfcom).

ETA: It's damn good ammo from whomever you buy from.

Up above just below the ad banners, last button on the right is the Industry forum.

Clicking this button takes you their forum and contains links to all, simply a matter of shopping/perusing those sell ammo.

Also tacked to the top of the AR15 Ammunition is a thread that tries to keep folks up to date on where to get the cheapest ammo, don't forget to review it also....

I use Winchester Ranger in 9mm & .45ACP and get them from Jerry Kirkpatrick in Florida--best prices and service I'm experienced. Contact him at: [email protected]
He also sells Glock OEM parts and is one of the few guys who didn't start raising ammo prices because everyone else was....

And no, I don't personally know him--I'm just an extremely satisfied customer who buys from him 3-4 times per year. I think someone here or at GlcokTalk recommended him for the Winchester Ranger ammo.
