Finished building a double stack 1911 made from a Caspian frame/slide in 9mm. Wondering- does this use a standard 1911 holster? and 2- which mag carriers are compatible with Caspian double stack 9mm mags? Thanks! |
| It should fit standard 1911 holsters as long as it doesn't have a different sized dust cover. If it has a rail on it you may have to experiment to see which rail system its compatible with. For mag holder, I'd suggest trying Mag holders for Glock 9/40 series weapons. Caspian mags are skinner/narrower than STI/SVI series guns so I'm not sure. I'd give caspian a call. They would know for sure. |
| Depends most leather yes. Kydex not so much. I have had to either modify or order specificly for a double stack. The frames are wider right behind the trigger. So any holster that covers the entire trigger may go up to far. And not allow the pistol to go all the way in. Best bet is pick a maker and ask them. |
