I have to say I like it. |
|
It's been posted before, not only does it look stupid, it costs $4400...at which point I could have a Les Baer TRS and Ed Brown SF for the same price. No thanks Kimber.
Now if it was a commemoritive 100 year tribute to the evolution of the 1911...like a Warrior with a 25LPI front strap and some nice VZ grips and their magwell for $1300 I might consider it. Or maybe a Kimber nod to the original like a Custom II with no FCS, some wood grips, GI rod system, no swartz safety, steel MSH with lanyard loop for...say...$800 I might consider it too. |

If you liked that Kimber, you're gonna love the Olympic Westerner: http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff35/kemays/1911-westerner-800.jpg That thing looks like it got pulled out of a house that burned down.

But you know –– the funny thing is, it's so ugly, I kind of want one. |
