How long has Ruger been making the stainless steel Chargers? I went shopping for a Charger last week and never heard of a factory stainless model, went to the fun store and they had one blue and one stainless. I went for stainless if for nothing else just because it's different than any others I've seen. I was just wondering why they didn't list them on their website. |

I've finally got a chance to really try this thing out and all I have to say is Wow. I should have bought one of these awhile ago. They are fun and accurate, it's one of those things that I never could really come up with a real reason to own it but they looked cool so I had to have it. It out shoots my 10/22, out to 50 yards everything is toast, can't wait till the 6' snow bank melts and I can get to the 100/200 yard range 50 yds is almost to close to really test this thing out. |

I haven't seen one. It must be very new. I just got a stainless short barrel Mini-14 GB that isn't listed on the web site either. ETA: From another site: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v11/Unruely/2008_1227Image0031.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v11/Unruely/2008_1227Image0030.jpg I don't think that is factory. It looks like it is Gunkoted/ Molycoated because everything is the same shade of gray. If this is factory then they finally got their act together because I have never seen a Ruger that matched so well. Dolomite |
| I have been holding out on the charger since it came out. I love it as is but would really like a stainless with a synthetic stock. I must admit that the red/blue/red and blue laminate ones look good, I would destroy them in the course of a summer. Destroy them in a cosmetic what I should say. |
