Hello to everyone in the 1911 discussions.

I wanted to take a moment and say hello and that my wife and I are adjusting to our move quite well.  We are looking to buy a house and once I do, I'll be applying for my FFL and getting my shop moved to the new location.  I still have a few guns in house that I'm trying to finish, so I've been flying home once a month to work and close down the shop in Illinois.

I'm liking the new area and my job as an Engineer.  I don't wish to disclose my employment, but there is a company in Prescott, AZ that a person with firearm history and an Engineering degree would fit very well in.

I hope to close on the house in the next couple months, so I'll be back up and running with my shop hopefully within the next 6 months (give or take).  It will be nice to live in the same location as the shop and be able to work regularly.

I'd like to extend a huge THANK YOU to those of you who have been patient with me while I worked through and finished school and who are continuing the patience while I catch up on the work I committed to.  I also thank everyone for their past and continued support as I close one chapter of life and move on to the next.  I assure everyone with school being over, I will have a better handle on wait times and delivery times.

Take care and I'll be on the forums more often now that things have finally started to settle down.

Bob:

Besides supporting my family, one of the reasons I try to remain gainfully employed is so I can have you build me fighting pistol.  Sadly, it may take another decade, but the jar has been established....

SGB thanks for pointing out this thread.

Bob,

Best of luck in your new endeavor, I wish you and your family the very best! Oh and one last thing, I hate you for leaving me behind in the godforsaken libtard socialistic state! LOL! Seriously though, Good luck and wish us the same that have to continue the fight back here.
