Hey guys... Looking for a cleaning tip. I clean my weapons everytime I shoot them. I do the normal cleaning job as recommended by the manufacturer but also typically will employ the help of a spray cleaner that comes with the little straw on it to help get into those tiny crevices and corners that are hard to reach with a q-tip, brush or other cleaning device, so my question is two part... 1: Is there any thing wrong with using they spray cleaners for this purpose? 2: Is there one that is significanly better than others or are they all pretty much the same? |
Nothing wrong with "gun scrubber" type sprays - just be careful around rubber or painted surfaces - they can be hard on them. That said, they are nothing but Brake Cleaner. I use the $1.89 Wally World brake cleaner all the time, indistinguishable from the expensive stuff. |
