I guess I don't use one since I don't know what it is.
What is it? A holster?

It's looks like a clip for knife that you carry on your pocket.
It uses very strong adhesive that attaches to the side.
You then carry inside the pants.

I have a Clip-draw installed on my Glock 27. It works very well.

I have a clip draw on my Kel-Tec PF-9 and it works great.

Oh! A Clip-Draw!

I like the idea of weapon-mounted clips on lightweight/small guns.
I especially like my Kel-Tec P3AT with the optional belt clip.

Try to Mexican carry your Sig. It might be too heavy.

Me personally I would never carry with a clip draw and a round in the chamber since there's no protection of the trigger.  That being said, I've contemplated a clip draw before, but again, I personally wouldn't carry with a loaded chamber.

get a good, quality, form fitting holster that: properly and securely covers the trigger guard area and allows for one handed reholstering/one hand drills

i would pass on the clip draw on ANY handgun (yes, i've tried it––G26)....YMMV

I don't think I'd ever want to carry one like that, but I've seen them on a bunch of pistols.

I actually saw some of the more interesting ones at the Texas Rangers' Museum here in San Antonio. There are some seriously old school 1911s with those on them - some with pretty engraving too. Apparently it was something of a practice for them to carry them at half-cock, appendix carry, with a clip on it. One guy even wrapped the grip safety to disable it.

I'd not want one though - I like to have the trigger covered.

I have one on my PA63 carry pistol.  Works great for small of the back, no holster carry.

Works great on my .357. I wouldn't carry with it on a gun that doesn't have a fairly strong 1st trigger pull.

Yup, too heavy. dropped my pants like a white kid in Detroit.

Thanks for the input.

Going to Tanner tomorrow and will look for something like Alpha recommended.

Yup, without your trigger protected, I see the FAIL in that.

Thanks for the sound advice. I am going to spend the money on something nice and leathery...
The thought of explaining why I shot myself in the leg is worth the cost of the holster alone.
I have been looking at some of those drills online and will practice them as soon as I get this new holster.
Thanks again.

This.

Clip-Draw is a NO-GO for serious carry of a defensive sidearm, in my opinion.

IF it doesnt have a trigger guard I wont use it
