I sent my G-36 to http://coldborecustom.com for a grip reduction and carry texture. I chose him because the price was right and the pics on his site were exactly what I was looking for. Most anyone can remove the hump on the back strap, the trick is making it look good when your done. My biggest concerns was the lines being clean and the texture consistent. Well Mr. Owens (owner/operator) delivered BIG TIME. Turn around time was great, he had my frame three days. On the third day it was on its way back to me. If Glock had a custom shop that offered this service, this would be the quality of workmanship I would expect from them.

I'm surprised you'd need a reduction on such a slim model.................that said, that's yet another example of a very well-executed job by those guys.  Looks very nice.

Holy crap, my left arm looks a lot like that. Had to double take when I saw the pics.

Good lookin G36, I might need to send mine off.

That's a great job on the 36! I think Cold Bore Customs might do the best looking grip reductions out there. Some of the reductions I've seen look terrible (I know it's ultimately about function), but Cold Bore's stuff looks even better than factory in many cases.

I might need to pick up another G19 just to have Cold Bore work his magic on it.

I agree with the others,   that is one of the best looking grip reduction and stippling jobs I have ever seen.

That looks really good. That man does some great work!

ETA - Hell he might even be able to make a G26 doable for me?

My only gripe on the 36 has been the backstrap comes out too much.

But I'm sure it's like that for all subcompacts.

Will consider doing this now.
