I have a Colt 32-20 that I just purchased but I cannot find anything about it and was wondering if anyone had any insight.  It has a 2" barrel and I think it is a Colt Police Positive?  But I cannot find anywhere that it can have a 2" barrel and this one sure does.  I was basically wondering what something like this is worth?

Without more info we can't be much help.

Colt's Police Positive or Police Positive Special with a 2" barrel, was called the Detective Special.
Colt also made the Official Police in 32-20.

The barrel should be stamped with the model name of whatever it is.
Since it's a 32-20 and has a 2" barrel, it's almost certainly a re-barrel or cut-down job.

Value depends entirely on the actual condition, minus a good bit for an altered gun.

Here's a link to Colt serial numbers by date:

Be warned, that there are several Colt Police Positive and Special models, and trying to date one without knowing exactly which model it is is difficult.

Since your gun is a 32-20, it's a Police Positive Special model.
