| Hello. Someone I work with is selling a Colt "Combat Elite" notice the Combat Elite in quotations because it is a blued slide on a parked frame/ All the Combat Elites I have seen are two-tone, blue over stainless. Is/was there ever a Combat Elite made in the blue over parkerized configuration? He is asking $1200 for it so I want to be very sure I am getting what I am paying for. Thanks for any help. |

No, all generations of the Combat Elite has blued sludes and stainless steel frames.
Original was matte blue slide, spur hammer. Second issue was polished blue flat top slide, eliiason sights, commander hammer, duckbill safety, slanted cocking serations. Some had serrated front strap under rubber wraparound grips. Third issue is the one currently available with novak low mount sights, beavertail grip safety. |
