I have a Colt New Agent that I absolutely love to carry. The little devil eats everything I put in the mags, even empty shells!
As with any handgun I own, I can make 3" 5 shot groups standing at 10yds. The only issue is that the New Agent prints about 6" down and 4" right from point of aim. I still consider this as "adecuate" accuracy for this gun's intended purpose... but want to know if there is something I can do to aproximate my point of impact to point of aim. "Send it back to Colt" is by far the last thing I'm willing to do (Colt customer service is Top Notch, but local FFL fees here are ridiculously overpriced). PS. I alredy aim hight and left... Any help will be appreciated. |

My Colt's feed empty shells too. I suppose you could start by buying a gun with sights on it. (sorry, but I just don't get the gutter-trough sights on the New Agent) Otherwise, what ammo are you using? I would expect it to shoot point of aim with 230 grain, and somewhat low with lighter bullets. |

Unless things are different in Puerto Rico, you can send the gun directly to Colt, and they can send it directly back to you. Things are different in PR... unfortunately. All gun handling must be from FFL to FFL and though the USPS. ETA: I like the USPS part. Its the FFL to FFL that sucks... not to mention it encourages PRICE FIXING... wich in fact already exists |
