| Not unless you want metal.... kinda personal preference. The benefit to nylon is a lighter gun, but most guys refrain from having plastic on their 1911. I think you'll like the look and feel of metal parts, and with a nice trigger might actually shoot better. This will give you an opportunity to pick a trigger that's the right length for your hand......and get one with an overtravel screw. |
