Anyone have a O1980RG (black cerakoted) Colt Rail Gun in stock?   I am going to purchase one but can't find anyone selling them.  I have tried all the major online retailers and I figure that there is some smaller shop somewhere in the world that happens to have one in stock that someone here might know about!

I would buy a stock stainless one. Have it dehorned, converted to series 70, trigger job and Cerakoted. Did exactly this (OD Green, not black). The price was not so crazy high.

they seem to be getting a little harder to find since Colt got the contract with the military. call champion firearms thats where I found my 2nd one. two of the best guns I own.

My dealer has more Colts in stock now than in the last 20years, but not a single rail gun of any configuration. Sorry, but I looked while I was there.
He hasn't had a rail gun for a few months that I've noted. I suppose they are a little behind with their contract for them. My best friend is looking for the same, so I keep an eye out.

OD is always darker than it seems to photograph.

With my DD lower and PSA 6.8 upper:

That's awesome, not to derail but what all does it take to go from 80 to 70 series?

Yes, they are stainless steel regardless of finish.

Colt does list the tu-tone one with a carbon steel lower. I believe that is incorrect though, but I'm not for certain.
